camera bag

finally the bag I have ordered month ago has reached me yesterday
it's actually a camera bag where I wanted to keep for my plastic cams
the bag size can actually holds a 400D/450D/500D/550D with a kit lens attached

so here are some pictures on the bag I took it online

moli borrow this lens from Foo for upcoming trip to Redang
well, this is one poison lens which both lilweiser & moli is interested
however, current situation doesn't allow we get it
we have to get the house done before we can buy anything we want
so, all we can do is just TAHAN

so here are 2 shots on the lens

LX3 vs S90

for those who has been following moli's blog
**moli thankiu you very much, very paiseh lately not much update**
should know moli used to have a Panasonic LX3
unfortunately, it was killed during moli's trip to Redang T^T

lilweiser felt bad about it & he insisting to get moli another camera
however, none of the cameras in the market could catch moli's heart
until recently...

when Unti Poo (foo :p) poisoned moli with her new cam Canon S90
it catches lilweiser's heart tooo XD
so, we went buy it at YS, ss2

so here will be a lil review opinion on both cameras
How this s90 catches both our hearts <3

so basically both have the same megapixel which is 10MP
LX3 is having 24mm - 60mm (2.5x) zoom lens
while S90 is having 28mm - 105mm (3.7x) zoom lens
as for the size, S90 is slightly smaller than LX3
Both having the lowest aperture f2.0

& what we love the most at S90 is the low light mode
yes, s90 produces nice sharp images even in low light
which LX3 is suck at
remember the post about i-City?
the first photo is actually taken with S90

on those normal condition, both are on par
however, s90 is suck at super macro
yes, LX3 beats s90 on super macro mode
so for those who loves to take macro stuff
s90 isn't really your choice unless you can give up on this point

another thing that moli decided to get S90
is that it has underwater casing which fits nicely on it
not like LX3 that requires a 3rd party casing
that cost more than LX3 itself
& yes, moli bought the underwater casing too :p

that's all on moli's lil opinion on LX3 & S90
those who is interested can try play it at Canon retail store
just make sure you're poison proof IF you're just thinking plain playing it XD

& for those who wants LX3
but got stopped by the rumors on LX4
well, moli heard from a friend that told moli
since LX3 is actually using Leica lens
& it's the lower range of Leica D-Lux4
so probably when Leica has new model announce for its new D series camera
Panasonic will have 1 too, probably end of this year
it seems make sense though
how true it is, no one knows :p

DSLR dream

moli is thinking of getting her own set of DSLR

but she can only dream at the moment

cox situation doesn't allow her to buy one

need to have some saving to get her own house

then only can think about it T^T

hopefully she can have her own DSLR soon

better if someone can get her one XD

ok, I came across this item when I was searching for Lomo stuff

is another version of Polaroid by fujifilm

a cuter & smaller version

the Fujifilm Instax Mini 7


since the refill film is easily to get

i have this feeling of getting it

i believe after i get it

the maintenance should be a killing point

cause, you see..

the refill pack costs in the range of RM25-RM30

for only 10 shots

well...

there was this day when lilweiser went siao siao (crazy in english)

he insisted in getting me a phone

range like N97, HTC TD2, HTC Lolita

but I just don't seem to want one

& fyi, me alone has 3 phones XD

so, i ended up opt to choose flash OR lens lor

but this ki siao fella wanted to get flash AND lens

and we really bought flash and lens for my boy

Accessory for my boy

both of me & lilweiser were thinking long time to get our boy an accessory - battery grip. but the price to get it is quite heavy. the cheapest we found around is rm470.

and one day lilweiser came across a sales thread at lyn & he saw a person is selling a new set at RM300 but with international warranty. he faster called hao to ask him on the warranty issue. after some google done by hao, hao adviced him to get it. so, there it is now on our baby boy.

boy looks hansem now with the battery grip on him XD

and while i was taking photos on boy, i discovered this... ^^

Cross-processing

I learned this word - cross-processing or in short Xpro when I started my lomo journey. It is one nice effect which I have fallen in love with.

Cross-processing is developing color print or slide film in the wrong chemicals — for example, slide film by the color negative process ("E-6 as C-41"). The results of cross processing differ from case to case, as the results are determined by many factors such as the make and type of the film used, the amount of light exposed onto the film and the chemical used to develop the film. Image contrast is usually high with blown-out highlights, while the shadows tend toward dense shades of blue. Reds tend to be magenta, and highlights normally have a yellow-green color cast.

Cross-processing effects can be now simulated in digital photography by a number of techniques involving the manipulation of contrast/brightness, hue/saturation and curves in image editors. One of the image editors with ready made xpro effect is Picnik - an online image editor that is user friendly. I know Picnik through Zen who is also falling in love with this effect.

Anyway, here are some photos that I have edited using Picnik with the Xpro effect. Hopefully you guys love it as well ^^

i used to draw...

i had been attending art classes on Sunday every week

since i was in standard 3

until i was in Form 6 and stopped

my teacher was assigned to work at outstation

so i had no choice

among all the techniques i had learnt

i love air brushing the most

but i guess my skills have gone down to drains XD

no more drawing since i stopped

all got rotten & rusted

i think i need to learn from start again if i decided to draw again =p
